Philadelphia, Pa. 1886.  Original boards with most of gilt title left on cover, there has been some damp staining on lower right hand corner of front cover, end papers and ffep are new.  Spine is original with gilt title still readable.  There have been some minor, hardly noticable japanese paper repairs done to some of the page edges.  Book is internally very clean, title page, table of contents,  and all maps present.  As well, there is a List of Patrons showing name, address, occupation, birthplace, and date they settled in the county.  Table of the Population of the United States in 1870 and 1880 buy Counties, a two page color map of Ohio with city inserts, a two page color Gray's New Map of the United States, and a two page color map of the World broken into Western and Eastern Hemisperes all present.  Aside from end papers, the atlas is all original.
