Thirty two biographies of representative women such as Martha Washington, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Charlotte Bronte, Marie Antoinette and even Pocahontas are present along with thirty two engravings including the frontispiece of Beatrice. Book is in very good plus condition, internally very clean, and binding is tight and solid. Endpapers are like new, there is a tiny personal name plate 1" by 1" on rear inside cover.
