Frontispiece and pictorial half title page, title page, preface and table of contents preceding book, index at rear. 347pp. A Catalogue of Works published by Adam and Charles Black Edinburgh at end of book. There is damp staining at the top outer corner of pages running through most of the book. There are no marks or underlinings on pages. Contents covers appropriate gardening measures and plants for every month of the year. Front inside board has paste down advertisement of Dr. Balfour's works.
