Irish Art in the Early Christian Period (to 800A.D.), Francoise Henry, Cornell University Press, Ithaca, New York  1965.  White end sheets. xvi -  ffep, Half Title Page, title page, copyright, contents, abbreviations used in the text, List of Maps and Drawings, List of Colour Plates,double page map of Principal Sites and preface.   Book has 256pp of text including 34 drawings, an index, bibliography, and a list of documentary plates.  There are 112 pages of illustrations and VIII pages of documentary plates. Green cloth hardover, gilt titles on cover, gilt titles on spine, and top edges of book have purple cast.  Book is in very good condition, only flaw is someone tried to pen perhaps a Celtic Glyph on the bottom page edge.  Dust jacket is good, price clipped, and there is a small tear in each front corner , and a tear at spine top.  One volume of a three book series, complete for the period of time it covers.  Irish Art in the Early Christian Period (to 800A.D.)
