Northward to Albion, Rosemary Sprague, Illustrated by Kurt Werth, Roy Publishers, New York 1947. Inscribed by author on half title page to "Martha Ferne Jones in the hope that she will grow up to be as lovely a gentle woman as the grand mother and mother for whom she is named, Affectionately, Rosemary Sprague, Christmas, 1952". Brown cloth, small octavo with embossed vignette in center of cover and black titles on spine, in very good condition. Historial fiction about Bruttys, Prince of Troy, who sailed to England after the Trojan defeat, and founded Britain. Pictorial front of dust jacket of sailing ship and Trojans soldiers, rear cover has photo and small bio on Rosemary Sprague ( who by the way narrated her own radio program called "Golden Keys" on WJW in Cleveland, Ohio). There is slight rubbing of edges and corners and a little sunning at topl but overall, dust jacket is in good condition, not price clipped - it still shows $2.50 on front inside flap. There is a tape repair done inside of the jacket at bottom of spine covering. Inside flap of jacket features Northward to Albion and back inside flap features Black Sheep Patrol by Stanley Paskho and illustrated by Frank Rigney. Top page edges of book are smooth and outer page edges are rough, there is some roughness on the bottom edge but I think it was meant to be smooth. Book is very clean internally, outside of the inscription there are no marks or rips of any kind. Black and sepia tone hand drawn illustrations throughout the book. Northward to Albion
