First edition. 48 color plates tipped on in three corners , including frontispiece. Book, which is in excellent condition, is a blue tweed cloth with title in lower right corner in gilt, and gilt title on spine. The prior owner has a bookplate on the inside board with some family genealogy inked under the name. Bosch's birth and death dates inked in under his name on title page. Otherwise there are no other marks in book. Jacket is in good plus condition, some indentations or scratches in jacket cover; no tears though. Hieronymus Bosch
