Gilt titles on spine. Top page edges gilt. Usual light soiling, bumped corners, and slight rubbing at top and bottom of spine. Small tear in cloth on spine and there is a slight crease in eight leaves as if the section had been folded over at one time. Bookplate of William P. Gallagher on inside front cover. End sheets are Victorian small green ivy. Binding is tight and solid and there are no marks or foxing. Paper at rear hinge starting to split, but hinge is in tact. 454pp including appendix.
