Large quarto bound in full bluish green morocco with four raised bands and five compartments. Gilt, red, and green decorated, stamped small vignette on front cover. Gilt title in first compartment, bottom of spine dated 1930. Spine is sunned to an olive green. A limited edition of 750 for England and 500 for the United States, this is number 164 of the American Issue, and signed by Willy Pogany on the limitation page. Illustrated by Willy Pogany with 12 large mounted colour plates (including frontispiece), and a full page original etching signed in pencil by Pogany. There are also forty-six small pastedown illustrations throughout the book at top of pages. Paper is hand made. Decorated Half title page and a two-colour, brown and tan, decorated title page, follwed by an introduction by George Saintsbury. 175 pages total with last page being a small illustration of a vase - last few pages are still uncut. Top edges are gilt and foredge and bottom rough. Very outer tip of the foredge of some of the rough pages browning. End paper and ffep and rfep have age toning. Japanese paper repair to page 145 not affecting text or illustrations at top of page.
