Bound in red cloth with gilt title on cover and on faded spine. Prior owner's name - Frank C. Tolles inked and dated Akron 1923 on ffep. Mr. Tolles was superintendent of public works for Akron. Paper clip indentation mark on ffeps, title page, and dedication page,having faded by the preface. They clipped on what are now laid-ins: penciled notes pertaining to a mortgage, two notices from National Builders Catalog, and a Constitution Indemnity Company of Philadlephia notice to Mr. William Norman of Albion NY that they were coming to do an audit. Otherwise, very clean internally. Rear fep has paste down of article from Professional Engineer magazine of April 1925 titled "Engineering Law",and rear inside board has paste down of another article titled "Boundaries-Surveys". 631pp including rear index. Book is in very good condition with rubbing and fraying at top and bottom of spine, and of bottom corners. Binding is tight. A Treatise on the Law of Surveying and Boundaries.
