Prior owner's signature in pencil and dated Feb 7th, 1877, on fep. Originally printed in 1871, this is the thirteenth edition for this first American publication on decorating the windows with window boxes, porches, balconies, and patios of homes and apartments. 300pp. plus index, acknowledgements, and advertisements.
