Titles on spine. Title page with vignette of sailing ship. Drawings by C.B. Falls. Octavo, 156 pages, in very good condition. Internally very clean. The story is told in conversation, the plot and suspense develop as people talk. Author hoped children would become more interested and better understanding of the story. Book is in very good condition, but Dust jacket is only fair plus to good: sunned spine, bottom front corner has small piece missing, one and half inch tear at top (easily repairable), small tear at top of spine, small loss at bottom of spine, piece of tape at top of rear cover, top rear corner has tear - but the dust jacket is intact and the tears are only along the edges and none within the body of the jacket.
