Octavo. Brown Quarter leather over dark brown pebbled leather boards, gilt titles on Cover and spine. Back cover with stamped titles. Rubbing and scuffing to leather, page edges marbled but top edge now darkened. Red, blue, and white swirled marbled end papers. Tipped in Biography titled "Sketch of the Life of Zenas Kent, Esq,. Deceased. With Portrait" on front marbled end paper. Newspaper clippings on "Connecticut Western Reserve, A Valuable Historical Sketch pasted down on ffeps. Newspaper articles from Kent Courier 1887 pasted down on rear feps, and occasional newspaper clipping laid in book. Most tissue guards at portraits are present. Title page, Preface, Table of Contents (i-viii) followed by colored Map of Portage County Ohio. Book is in very good condition, binding is solid. History of Portage County, Ohio
