First edition octavo with original green cloth covers and brown end papers, gilt decoration on cover of gentleman riding a horse, gilt titles on spine. Usual rubbing and bumped corners, tear in cloth at top of spine, small newspaper article on horse show at Madison Square Garden in 1888 laid in between pages 84 and 85 causing small stain to pages, else very good.
